Rock concert volume from just a few watts? If you move in the realm of single-ended triodes and still like to hear dynamically, you need one thing above all: efficiency! In order to generate sound pressures beyond the 100 decibels from one watt (or only half), the horn principle with compressiondrivers is still the best solution.
UNIVERSUM can be bi-amped, so that you can use a more powerful amplifier for the bass section – and leave the mid and highs to be treated with a high quality tube amp.
